Speaker: Ben Welbourn Director of Outreach & Recruitment Winterline Global Education
Ben is an alum of a self-designed gap year, during which he hiked the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia, worked in a variety of industries, taught English in rural Peru, and led outdoor education programs in New Hampshire and Maine. He then earned his degree in international relations from the College of Wooster in Ohio.
Prior to joining Winterline, Ben led outreach efforts in New England for Rustic Pathways and managed programs for them in the Dominican Republic. Ben is fluent in Spanish, and before joining the field of experiential education, taught at a primarily Dominican-American school outside of Boston.
When not talking with students about the benefits of global learning, Ben heads to the ocean or the mountains to hike, swim, ski, and camp as much as possible.

Akbar Rohanifar, Corporate Sales Manager with Turkish Airlines based in Boston, is in charge of business development and account management of F500 & C100 category corporations, in addition to TMC (Travel Management Companies) in New England region. He has been in the airline industry for 11 years with major travel industry leaders including Air France, Delta Air Lines, American Express Travel, Korean Air, and now Turkish Airlines. Travel is his greatest passion and while he has visited 30 countries, he firmly believes on his advocacy for improvement on tourism, aviation, and business travel for United States of America despite the current challenges in the market.His academic background has been established in Business Management, in addition to Travel & Tourism. He speaks four languages including Farsi, English, Azerbaijani, and Turkish.

Denae McGaha first studied abroad in London her Sophomore year of college and has looked for any excuse to use her passport since.
Armed with a Communications degree and a penchant for talking to strangers, she set off on StudentUniverse’s 10-country post-grad summer Snap Gap and returned set on pursuing a career in the travel and film industries.
Based in the Pacific Northwest, Denae is currently working on her travel writing and videography while planning for her Next Big Move. Which city will it be?

Zuer is a travel guru, a Sina Weibo veirified travel blogger (@王蹦蹦-) and a full time law student at Washington University in St Louis. In the past 9 years, Zuer has visited 13 countries around the world while being a full time student. She served as an international voluntary teacher in Nepal in 2012 and has gained many more abundant life experiences through travel. Featuring first-hand travel tips, lively travel photographs and many more vivid story-telling, Zuer’s Weibo account has drawn tens of thousands of followers.
